How to book a session at Burn Bright?

New clients: Please book your free 20 minute phone consultation with the counsellor of your choice here. If you are unsure who could be a fit, please book an intake with our Clinical Director, Mady Harber.

Returning clients: Please visit your client portal on Jane App here to book your next session with your counsellor.

How are counselling services delivered?

Services are available both in person and virtually.

Virtual services are delivered through Jane app. You will receive a link to your video session in your email prior to the session.

In person services are available at the Datatech building in Victoria, BC on McKenzie Ave.

What are your fees?

Our fees range depending on the Counsellor. Please check individual Counsellor bio’s on our team page for information on their fee’s.

Limited sliding scale options are available upon consultation (before session).

Our Intern Counsellors offer a sliding scale rate for the duration of their internship with us from $40-$60 + GST per session (50 minute clinical hour).

How can I pay?

We accept e-transfer to billing@burnbrightcounselling.ca

or credit card through Jane App.

Can I use my extended benefits?

If you have extended benefits confirm with your provider or employer to see if they cover your clinician’s registrations (eg. Registered Social Worker). Extended benefits do not usually cover intern counsellors.

Do you offer direct billing?

At this time we do not offer direct billing for insurance companies. All FNHA (First Nations Health Authority), CVAP (Crime Victim Assistance Program) and VAC (Veterans Affairs Canada) funded sessions are direct billing.
